WTF???? Onyx 800R problem

OK, here's one out of left feild. Has anyone else had problems racking a Mackie Oynx 800R? The damn thing is too big, I could get it in a rack (with the aid of a hammer) but I'd never get it out without the use of power tools. I've put a tape measure across it and it does seem to be wider than anything else I've got laying about here (it measure 45cm behind the ears) by about 1cm.

I'd be interested to see if anyone else has had this problem.

Well, it IS a bit ...errrr...wide. Never had the problem though - tried it in three racks, no problem. Maybe your 800r is swollen? Sorry to be of no help. Anyway I discovered some parallels between Australia and Bavaria - none that belong here.

You mean the marketing decides how biiig the thing will be? This will lead to sorrow and misery.... anyway, the nice thing with the lightpipe interface ist, you cannot lose the little plasticplugs which cover the hole, because of this slide-to-the-side window.
OMG - I said something positive with the word "window". Forgive me, Steve Jobs!
