| Lives for gear | freeze tracks in Reaper
Can you freeze tracks in Reaper 3? Been searching for it, not finding anything.

In the mixer window, right click on a track and select 'Render selected tracks to stem tracks and mute original'. After this you can right click on the original track(s) again and choose to hide them if you want to keep your mix window organized.

thought there had to be something close, trying to slowly learn it, coming from many many years of cubase, really liking 5, but not that happy with steinberg overall, i'm really liking reaper the more i use it, a lot like cubase, so not too much of a learning curve so far. Although I have hit shift G for instant looping of a track about 10 times now, old cubase habits
