Will I benefit using one of these over my cheap Raxxess nylon pop filter? My plosives are pretty bad on the Raxxess, as well as my sibilance, wondering if the metal will reduce any of these symptoms.

I found the Stedman to actually accentuate sibilance, so I no longer use it.

Really? If that's the case then there's no way I'll be able to use one of these. Any other suggestions?

Sing (talk?) about 30 degrees off axis to subdue sibilants. Plosives is strictly technique. If you are an unbridaled performer, pick up a Samson PS01. A DOUBLE nylon mesh filter ($29) that has the bonus of being 5 inches instead of the usual 6 inches. (not that there's anything wrong with that. lol) |

something to consider is that the metal filter can be used as a hybrid. metal for when u want those clear tones and just throw a nylon stocking over it for when you dont.
