What is BBE good for?

So YEARS ago, before I knew anything, I had some extra cash, so I bought some audio equipment for my soon to be studio... soon after that I got hired full time into a studio..
So I never used any of the equipment I bought because I had a full blown studio to do with what I please...

ANYWAYS, I have this BBE462 because of all that. I've never used it other than once when I was just playing around with it; with a stereo track... I know these are used for helping loud speakers overcome their limitations for live sound.. but is there ANY reason for me to keep this thing?! I heard it sounds kinda cool on Toms? The only thing it's doing here now is filling in a rackspace..

I know this isn't a pro piece of equipment, but is it good for ANYTHING?

I have a pair that I still keep in the rack. (btw...I really do like them on the mix bus on our live rack).
I dunno. Like all things, listen and see if you like the effect. I find a place for them every now n then. Occasionally an acoustic guit track, occasionally I like it on the drum room mic in the chain after heavy compression... can get it to help accentuate the pumping effect.

Its something.

Bass drum. Try it. It can work wonders on a dull vocal.
