Electro-Voice Blue mic?

I can't figure out if this is just a case of shameless word association or is actually a Blue design.

I'd guess the former, but I may have missed something.

It makes me feel a little weird when the product picture is illustration rather than a photo. At least the hardware is illustration; the mic body may be a photo but it's hard to tell.

No, these were announced a while back. They are Blue designs. Telex (E/V's parent company) it Blue's new distributor so I'm sure this had something to do with that association.

Yeah... are these out yet? Anyone used one? They both look like they've got a Chinese-esque high response... blecch in advance. But if it's better than Blue Balls (and what isn't, *rimshot*), the price may be right.
