Gearslutz/Telefunken Elektroakustik/Vocal Asylum Party, Friday July 24th!

Date:
Friday July 24th 2009

Time:
7pm till....

Location:
Vocal Asylum Studios
6381 Hollywood Bl Suite 700
LA, CA 90028
(Corner of Hollywood and Cahuenga)
(Press #700 at door for entry)
818 259 0190

The party will be hosted by Fletcher and myself and everyone is invited. It looks like most all of the Telefunken mic line will be on hand to listen and use at the party. This is also a great opportunity for all us gearslutz to get together and trade war stories. Should be a great time.

We will have some food and drinks but everyone is welcome to bring something. Please NO RED WINE!

TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik ™ - TELEFUNKEN Microphones - Only At TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik ™
James Lugo's Vocal Asylum

Please RSVP on this thread only.

I thought more people would be into a Fletcher and Telefunken event but it looks like it's gonna be a wash. It's all good I'm gonna invite all my friends and we'll still have a shindig. If anyone wants to come let me know. Fletcher's bringing the majority of the Telefunken mic line so if you want to check out some mics...

If the Ela M 260 is going to be there, I could bring some cymbals. I'd love to hear how that does versus your ATM450 or a couple of my usual suspects.

Also if the RM-5C will be joining the party, I'd love to hear what that sounds like on one of your amps.

IMHO the reason for less of a turn-out is that some people (like myself) have to work on Friday-vs. a Saturday evening.

Still kudos James for you and Fletcher, along with anyone else connected for even having any events at your studio. You and Karen are great hosts!

Vicki and I really enjoyed the last one you held there.

Yeah it was pretty amazing as were all of the mics. We listened through the files again this morning. Telefunken and Wagner don't play games.
