Learning Nuendo

Any tips on how to learn the Nuendo platform? I've never used anything from Steinberg so I'm not used to their layout.

Are there any good books available I can pick up? Also, would I be able to use a Digi interface to record to Nuendo or do I needs their or some other interface?

Thanks a bunch

Dante

P.S. Please don't say the best way to learn is by working in it, I am, but I'm looking for more info. Thanks guys

Here's a couple of good instructional book/CD Roms to check out:

The 'MASTER' version is a movie tutorial which I strongly recommend.

I made the jump from PT to Nuendo about 2 years ago. There were a few things that made the switch easier for me:

1. I had a friend that was a Nuendo guru who I called a lot whenever I needed help.

2. Nuendo lets you customize all of your quick key commands so I just made mine into ProTools commands

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Rick

There are a few books out there on Nuendo (or at least pamphlets or something), and I don't know about digi hardware. The best thing to do is what I did. Read the book that comes with the software, and keep your machine up to test and play.

I would look at something by RME or Lynx to get started with the hardware.
