Some of you may have seen my listings for SCA pre's on ebay, but for those of you who haven't, check them out! I've built many of these pre's and can build them for anyone who wants some seventh circle pre's but doesnt want to, or know how to put them together. I ship to Europe using USPS so it's way cheaper than UPS. Email me for exact quotes and pricing. Thanks!

I notice the SCA preamps don't include filters (high-pass or low-pass), so what does one do to keep a mix from getting muddy or noisy?

Also can you run a number of kits via one power supply or does each preamp require its own supply?

What? There are many great sounding preamps that don't have HP or LPF's. Just use an outboard eq or plugin(depending on how you record). Personally, I prefer not using any type of eq or filter going in. I believe the power supply that comes with the 8 space rackmount frame supplies up to 8 units.

I use an outboard EQ and DI box and pads, none of that is included on the SCA preamps. Never had a problem with not having filters. The pads would have been nice and they make a DI kit now as well.

You can have up to 8 preamps in one chassis with one power supply, it's a wire harness and you get preassembled.
I personally have 8 SCA pres and love them all. Super good price to value ratio.
