Pro Tools Issue - Please Help

Today i opened a session i have been working on recently.
I recorded an audio track and hit stop once completed. I was then presented with this message:

Could not complete your request because Neo
Assertion in "/ Volumes / Development / vb_cliff /
AlturaPorts / SDKs / Neo61 / Libraries / Macintosh /
Environments / Alone / .. / .. / .. / ../Source /
CNeoStreamable.cpp", line 2247.

After clicking OK it was apparent that the audio did not record.
I attempted to re-record the track but no input signal was detected nor was i able to stop the recording by using the space bar/ transport window.
The only way to stop the recording was to quit Pro Tools. Now every time i attempt to record these events take place.

I would really appreciate any help with resolving this issue.

Many thanks.

Trash the Digidesign Database files on each hard drive also, Flush and reboot, Relaunch PT and you should be fine

Thanks for your help. I'm up and running again.
I'm amazed the solution was so simple and also that the databases are capable of causing these sporadic problems.
Thanks again.

Because 90% of my work originated outside of my studio, those sessions prefs are always playing havoc with my system.

So at least once a month I run:
