Adam A7....WTF!!..I'm mad.....real mad!!!!!!

...................just finished building my first room, it's not much 210 sq feet, but have been working my ass off in it for the last month building about a dozen bass traps and huge 8ft corner traps, was really excited this evening cause we get to hear what it sounds like for the first time. Into the cd player goes the ubiquitous copy of Gaucho turned up the speakers and there's a strange noise coming from one of them. Listened on headphones and it sounds fine. Seems the bass driver is blown again!!! Now this happened to me about 9 months ago on a set of speakers that were only 6 months old and I had to put up with a crappy set of Rockits which the shop gave me while they sent the speaker away to get fixed. I'm so pissed. Anybody else had this problem with these speakers?

These speakers are not meant to be blasted. When you hear the woofer "snapping" back off the volume. If you like your sound loud get another pair of monitors.

Don't play them so loud. I've never had a problem with mine.

If you do stupid things with your equipment, it will break. Lesson learned.

I had issues with my amp in one of them, and my rep here swapped them out quite fast. I now have the P33's and service is top-notch through Diffusion Audio.
