Thread Starter | digi 002 phantom power problem?
hello, i am having a problem with my 002 rack unit. when i run phantom power to any condenser mic, the signal seems to wash out; meaning that it will completely drop, a ton of ground noise will rush up, then there will be zero signal. a few seconds later, the full mic signal will come back, only until i make the slightest sound and it blows again. does this sound like a problem with the phantom power on the 002 unit, or is it possible that i am just dealing with dirty power in my building? would a power conditioner help with this? it isn't the mic because i've tested it with all of my condensers. thanks for your time. |
