Trade out the console for DAW HW inserts?

So I'm looking for some other peoples views.
I'm debating the Pros/Cons of getting rid of my analog desk & just using HW inserts with my interfaces.

Off the top of my head.
Some DAW HW insert Pros =
Unlimited flexible channel/bus configuration ITB.
Allows the ability to freeze audio with hardware inserts. This allows for removable of analog noise when not in use & post editing after processing.

Some DAW HW insert Cons =
A/D D/A conversion build up for every processor.
No more console EQ on every channel/bus :(

I'm curious why you would not want to use both where you need them. I am of the opinion that the equipment sounds better when I use an analog mixer/console/summing box. I would use H/W inserts for useful pre-fader/effect signal path here and there. There is certainly no need for me personally to use all pre-fader insert path. I would use the Console for summing, outboard insertion, in context, and over the master buss, parallel stuff, and always re-record the audio back into the computer.
