Logic + DAE bug?

Can anyone with Logic and Protools mix+ try this.

Insert any plug-in on a track and tweak any parameter. Select "no output" as it´s output. Save and close the song. re-open it and if my theory is correct the plug-in parameter you just tweaked should be initialized.

Today 14 tracks of drums lost their eq+comp settings:(

DAE 5.1.1cs1, Logic 6.0.

Loss of plug-in settings happend in Logic 4.7.3, not sure if it were "no output" related or something else. This never happend in protools (5.1) so I guess Logic is to blame.

old bugs return

phh, seems, thatt they lost the fix for this annoying thing...worked in 4.81 and 5.5...

Only advice is to never switch to a x.0 version for payed jobs...

:-((

Jens,

I think I had this before. If I understand you correctly, plug-in parameters are not remembered on tracks that do not have an output assigned. I remember this happening on a RenEQ. I think though if you assign that track to an output the settings pop back into the plug-in. Safest bet is to assign the track to a muted or unused bus.

Peter

All with Logic of course
