Thread Starter | DriveRack 220i Serial Connection Issue
I'm trying to program a DriveRack but can't get the PC to connect via the serail connection on the unit. I am using a USB to serial adapter that is recognized by Windows and is set to COM1. I have set DriveWare to use COM1. However, when I try to "Connect to Network" in the DriveWare software it tells me network not detected and goes into offline mode. The PC light on the front of the DriveRack doesn't light at all. At the bottom of the DriveWare window it says "Network master not detected". Is my adapter causing the problem? I wouldn't think so, but maybe. Any other ideas?
