ADAT connection (need help)

Please help me with ADAT connection. I am going to use Aphex convertors and M-Audio ADAT bridge. The cable length is going to be 5 meters (~16ft.). I don't have extra money for WORD clock, that's why i iask you how the legth will affect on transfer quality?

I am going to use good sommer cables like this:
SOMMER CABLE TOSLINKKABEL 5M - U.K. International Cyberstore
Will this cable save me?

I don't think that the optical cable will make that much difference (even at 3m).

I do believe you have to provide a WC to the Aphex A/D - make sure you use 75ohm coax. The Aphex is terminated, so this is pretty straightforward.

Yes, but i would better buy SSl Logic AlphaX and connect it via MADI - it's cheaper for me.

Okay, if there's no problem at 5 meters, i will better buy Aphex
