HeadPhone Distribution

I've been thinking about purchasing some type of headphone distribution...

Im running Pro Tools HD with 16 ins and outs. As of right now, the monitor section is sent to the headphone amp which is sent to headphones throughout the studio, thus what im hearing in the control room is what is being sent to the headphones, no individual mixes.

In other studios i've used Furman HDS-16 with the HRM-16 mixers. I like being able to go out of the pro-tools outputs right into the HDS-16 and then to the mixers.

What i'm wondering is if anyone can suggest something similar that is cheaper.

The HDS-16 is $750 new, plus at least 2 HRM-16 which are $700 a piece. OUCH!

ANYTHING?

Behringer HA-4700, could be nice for you... it's one of their rare reliable gears...

The Mackie HMX56 looks cool and affordable....

But the concern i have is this...

I need to go Pro Tools outs from my TT patchbay for my headphone mixes, but the HMX56 only has 1/4 inputs. (Yes i could get TT to 1/4 inch adapters)

Also, i like how the furman system has the multipin cable to connect the headphone amp to the individual mixers... I really dont want to run adapters for tt to 1/4 inch, then extra long 1/4 cables from my patchbay to live room?

does this make sense?

The hearback fourpack is around €1000 ($1000?) - hub and 4 remotes.

I know I'm saving up for one.

I use the smaller cheaper HDs6 system, it's smaller and cheaper and the clients aren't spending too much time monkeying with headphone mixes
