Reverb Return EQ

I tried searching for topics like this but didn't find much.

I've noticed that reverb can have a lot of low end information. I recently downloaded the Bricasti Impulses from the New Products section and noticed that they have a lot of beef in the low end. It sounds wonderful solo'ed, but in the mix I wonder if it's too much?

How do you EQ your Reverb returns? Where are you setting your hipass filters? Any low mid cuts or presence boosts? Or do you leave a nice convo impulse as is?

Obviously if it sounds good in the mix it is good, but as a novice I'd like to know some of the practical\popular settings used by the professionals here.

Thanks.

bend that sucker as much as needed to get it where it needs to be.

fwiw, if your verb has too much low mid, odds are your sources do as well.

Ubik is right - and I also like to EQ the send to taste. I hate vocal verbs that ring out on the sibilance, so I usually cut some highs, above 2k or so, or seriously de-ess them. Rarely do I have low end problems, often even boosting it (for vocals, andyway). See above for the rest of the low mid problems.
