Studios/Music in Milan, Italy

Looks like I'll be moving from Philly to Milan later this year. What's the music scene/studio scene in the Milan area? Any good places to go and listen to live music? Original music?
I'd like to try and hook up with other slutz in the area!!! If anyone is interested, you can email me at rcerini at gmail dot com. Email in Italian is fine, parlo italiano.

Ciao,

Ciao,
I was just over there teaching a drum recording master class. Almost 100 people came out to see me talk about drum recording on a rainy night, so there is definitely a scene of people into recording
( I talk a bit about it here Piano recording tip from Venice Italy and a villa studio tour. Episode 05 | Ronan's Recording Show)

The big pro audio store there is Lucky Music. LUCKY MUSIC Network

A pal of mine just built a pretty cool new place there MySpace.com - ThisWayStudio - 32 - Male - IT - www.myspace.com/thiswaystudio
it's a multi facility studios with 2 control room one big tracking room a 5 production room.

This is probably the biggest studio in Milan
Officine Meccaniche ยป Studi

Good luck with the move. I might be moving over there in a couple years (but probably to the Padova area)
