What are the best Studio/Home Studio Insurance Companies in the U.S - and any Advice

Hi Guys!

I am looking for a specialized Studio Recording/Audio Gear Insurance company that can give me a great and hassle free coverage to have piece of mind.

I do not want to use conventional insurance companies because could be not logical and maybe they are just blah, blah.

What are the best companies? what are the Fees and how do you pay them(once a year , a month?
and any trick or thing I must know , ask or add to the Policy?

Anything that the studio must have to lower the policy?

Just in case I am in Florida.

I use Musicpro Insurance on Long Island, New York. There is a special rate
for ASCAP members. Rates are manageable, and thank goodness I haven't
had to put in any claims, so I don't know about how well or quickly they pay.
If you are a member of the Musicians union, they should have a special
also, I know Local 802 in New York did when I was a member.

It's called The Studio Insurance Program and I helped Joe design it around 12 years ago... it is the best... it even covers intellectual property rights!

They just paid out 500K to a studio a friend of mine owns that caught fire at the end of last year... no screwing around at all! Can't beat that...
