Keith Holzman's "Complete Guide to Starting a Record Company". Keith is the brother of Jac Holzman (founder of Elektra Records), and was also Elektra's Sr. VP and concurrently the Director of Nonesuch.

"Start An Independent Record Label" by J.S. RUDSENSKE. Great book and an easy read. At the end of each chapter he list highlights.
