Difference between Black face/Blue face Orban 642b models?

Hi all.

Anyone know the difference between these two models?

I had the black face model but lost it in a fire.
I have just bought a blue face model to replace it, and the burnt out interior of the black face looks the same as the blue.

Anyone?

The blue faced one sounds cleaner to me and I would prefer it for mastering or more transparent surgery. I think the black face might be slightly more grainy but these differences are not night and day to my ears.
