After sessions, I have been watching Alfred Hitchcock Presents, the half-hour show from the late '50s / early '60s. There's something soothing about it. They're fun even when (read: especially when) they are corny.

Little mysteries, solved in less than half an hour. Compact intrigue.

I've been watching them on Tivo'd television, but you can also get them on DVD.
