the surface mount chips on the little green board are the LED meter driver circuit. you can pull that little board off and the audio part of the Biz will still work exactly the same, the lights just wont light up.

all the switching is done with relays, the blue and yellow rectangles. the red boxes are wima film caps.

There are LEDs in the buttons but the LEDs that show signal are to the left of the knobs.

Ok, gotcha... I thought the meter LED's were in the buttons, which didn't really make a whole lot of sense, but it sounded like it could be cool. I guess it would kind of defeat the purpose.
