Does it exist ? - A website that details recording procedures of famous albums

...or any albums really.

I'm keen to get more ideas for my own personal ercordings, but i am struggling to find enough information to satisfy me. Need more input ! ANYTHING that can i can read will be greatly appreciated. From Technical white papers to interviews with engineers to background info on commercial CDs... Anything...

So, what you guys got ?

Sound on Sound has an article every month, its not very detailed but usually a good read. you can get an e-sub on their site and look at all the articles including back issues.

I already consume that every month :(

I also read Australian Audio Technology Magazine which has some good interviews too..

I'm looking to get a Tape Op sub soon.

I used to write (and edit) for Digital, Australian Guitar and Next Music when I lived in Australia (Left in 2000)- I remember seeing various articles on classic tracks, more than classic albums- I havent seen either magazine for ages, they may not even be running, but maybe check them out- I am pretty sure Digital went tits up, but AG and NM might still be going.

If you are new to the site you might not have experienced a guest moderator forum.

We will have VIP guest engineers & producers do guest forums. starting again in September then in Oct & November..
