I think its a great site, haven't gotten any scripts and such from it.
Found it when I was looking for sound samples, and since day, I check it daily to see if anything new came up. the latest sample with the Guild Starfire Iv from 1973 that was recorded with the guys skype mic has very surprising quality!

What tonepedia stands for: every one has their own tone (some good, some better and some crap) and we all no matter how good or bad always like to improve our tone.
There is a great website that is doing just that, every registered user can add his gear to his gearbox, and upload sound samples of the different combinations of gear he's got.
So if you are in to tone, show of your gear and share your tone with others:
