WTB case for a korg MS-20 ( MS20 )

Hello everyone,

I finally found a vintage MS-20 on craigslist for only $1100 (yes, only - considering the last one I saw on ebay went for $2002,00) but I don't feel comfortable carrying around a 30 y.o. synth without a case. Any suggestions? I could go after an old oversized suitcase or something like that, but I've been working a lot lately and I don't think I'll have time to look for one. Maybe a shop that makes custom cases...?

thanks

Why would one carry around a 30 year old synth? I'd leave it in the one place you intended to play it if you were scared of it falling to bits. Or put it in a cupboard for 10 years and sell it for 1200 in 2019 when soft synths are older/ more authentic sounding than their real counterparts.

i myself have been searching for the perfect case for so long. i gig with my ms20. filter other signals, spacey noises, great bass and leads. i have an old pressboard trunk that i lug around. i search ebay constantly for a great looking case. being that i do live shows with it i want something more than just a plain jane ata case. vintage tweed suitcase would rock. but they are never deep enough. the search continues.

my ms-20 came with the original case, in a mustard tweed with japanese engravings on it... I suppose I could let it go if the price was right, but it is mint and the price would have to be VERY right. like over 400 dollars right.

MY GOD! Over $2000 for an MS-20. How I wish I'd had the foresight to pick one or two up back when you couldn't give 'em away.......

I feel old.........

Thanks for sharing! Are the dimensions shown in the link ((L x W x D): 23 3/8" x 15 3/8" x 11" interior) the same dimensions as your case? I'm working out the MS-20 specs for myself and the synth seems to slightly exceed the case interior dimensions, but I have no experience with this kind of thing.
