How hard is it to make console cables right?? pro shop sure can't...

I'm pissed.....
I ordered 5 cables (multi) for my console:

2 EDAC/Elco >> XLR M/F for the patchbay
1 Edac/Elco >> XLR M for the monitoring section
2 Edac/elco >>dual d-sub (db25) for the multitrack/converters

Email the cables maker the exact pinout of the ELCO connectors from the console manual and the Pinout for the D-sub from the Lynx's website.
sent me the cables after two weeks...
the 2 elco>> d-sub are all FOOCKED up! channel 1 is fine, 2 is fine but then 3 in becomes out 6 , 4 out becomes 7 in etc.. I mean a COMPLETE mess. I email them, they tell me it's not their fault...ok...I gave you the console manual and the converter's manual!? hello!!?? anyways they say they will do the cables over but I HAVE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING!???
after arguing I paid to ship back to them but told them they would have to pay to ship back to me.
a week later I get the cables back (yesterday) I plug them in....they are now right 8 in and 8 out (before all cables were going in and very few out) but they are backwards!!!
channel 1 on my console sends to converter input 8, channel 2 send to 7 etc...
what a mess!!? I means these guys are supposed to be pros!, they do this all day as he said...yet they made my cables wrong TWICE.....now I might have to take apart the d-sub and redo the connections myself... I paid $1200 for 5 cables and I have to redo 2 of them!??

It's easier to get a pin insertion/removal tool and change the pins in the Elco shells.
