advise: used prices on focal and vintech

I'm looking for some advice on what the going market price is on a pair of used focal twin 6be monitors. I have an opportunity to make on offer on a used pair (1 year old) that look to be in great shape. What would you pay?

I also have the opportunity to purchase a vintech 473 for $2000 (USD).

My budget is $2400 (USD) for either. Am I way off on the $2400 for a used pair of focals?

I have a bryston 4b + NS10 combo that I should be able to get around $800-$1000 for to put towards the focal purchase.

OK, what are a 1-year old pair of focal twin 6be's worth to you? Someone's got to have an opinion on this...

Check Ebay for "completed" auctions. You can usually get a decent sense of what the market is for a lot of used items this way.

Hi, ya I usually do this. But, there aren't any recent completed listings for the vintech 473. Thanks for the suggestion though!

I have some Twin 6's that are about 8 months old and I am thinking about getting rid of them becuase my room is a little to small. I am considering going with solo's and a sub. Let me know.
