Drum Replacement! Aptrigga2 / Drum Rehab.

Host: Protools 8

Plugins: Aptrigga 2 vs. DrumRehab

Pro's: Aptrigga -streamline interface, preview next sample, pitching! panning, different trigger modes.

Drum Rehab - RTAS of the back! Attack and Sustain, choke mode triggering.

Con's: Aptrigga needs the wrapper (we have ata but now they've gone rtas), no attack and sustain (where a comp fits in)
TL Space - No pitching, manual sound selection.

My go would be aptrigga2, digi really needs to rehash this old software.

No experience with how it works in PT with the wrapper but i use aptrigga in logic and find it to be very good. The pitch control for each sample is excellent.

Massey DTM and Aptrigga is a pretty killer combo. Made my life alot easier!

It's been years since I've used Aptrigga in anger so I can't make a direct comparison, but after a couple of tries with Drum Rehab I stopped bothering to check the phase of each sample. Feed it a cleanish signal and it always seems bang in- which for me is the most important part of it.
