I just did a test with an api 525: when both the L(limit) and C(compress) buttons are engaged, HOLY COW!!! SUPER LIMIT, it also seems to tame the HF info. Any one else already try this?

(As discussed in another thread) Yow! I've got my comps set up for tracking right now, but later I'm gonna try 'em on some drum tracks. Will report. I never did the 'stereo link' mod, but I'm gonna have to now. I'm really glad you hipped me to this. It's like getting pair of new toys... for FREE! Also, as in the 1176, the meter seems to go a bit wacky. I've heard the meters in the 525 referred to as 'useless' but I definitely glance at what they're doing during when I'm getting rolling. |
