Thread Starter | Monitors for £1000
Hi All - I have a £1000 to spend on a pair of monitors and am looking for recomendations .I have a pair of genelec 1029 + sub which are fine for club tracks but my mixs don't transfer that great on hi-fi /smaller speakers. thanks krisstoff |

how large is Ur room? do U mix nearfield/midfield/distant? what kinda tunes? do U have a decent poweramp to use or must the speakers be powered? i think these questions make a good start in finding something suitable. |

For that money i'd look at PMC DB1S-A's (using their bigger brother TB2S-A's here). And PMC is UK based
