Thread Starter | Looking for a studio in the philly area Need a place to track an artist that I might work with in the future. Need no more then a 5 hour block. Looking for a good priced professional studio. Possible future bookings. Looking for your typical top mic and pre collection, apogee or better conversion, PT or Nuendo preferred. | I tracked a band at TTR and it was a pleasure. No Sony54th, but a gem none-the-less. I think Mike Tarsia also does a lot of tracking there as well. Contact Andrew (drmmrboy here on GS). If you want a console, contact the kats at Milkboy out in Ardmore. If you want a BIG console, contact Phil at Studio 4 out in Conshohoken, PA, Larry Gold's Studio at 7th and Callowhill or (if you can find them) Elm Street studios. |

Thread Starter | That place looks nice. Think it's a little far north east.. The artist is bussing it. And lives in Philly |

| Brian McTear at Miner Street/Cycle Sound in Philly has all the above. There are a couple of big API rooms close by as well for those in the know, with great outboard gear. All are PTHD rooms with 24 track analog as well. Who else would know but yours truly? Cheers, PH |
