Problem with HHB Gold CDRs...

Are the HHB CDR74 GOLDs worth a crap?

Was using some the other day, burning mixes to my HHB BurnIt Plus, and noticed that if you hold them to the light they are EXTREMELY translucent!

And some of my mixes had "digital crackle" all over them, and I had to redo them.

Anyone experience this?

What CDRs should I purchase from now on?

Thanks,
-Neil

Which Taiyo-Yudens?

My HHB needs disks that are only 1-8x speed.

There are so many different ones, what do you recommend?

Thanks,
-Neil

I use the TY inkjet printable.

All gold CDs have been found to have lower archival longevity than other dye formulations.
