Hey scott, I wonder how your "pimp up behringer controller" is doing for you after all that time. I am thinking of starting the same thing for myself. Do you have any picture of yours? None of the pictures your post still there.

Hi Gestus, sorry, I think those photos were deleted from my website when I changed accounts.

I ended up selling the controllers. To be honest, i didnt find them intuitive to work with (menus and modes etc) and the faders themselves were so noisy that any automation was really distracting.

For sure, a bank of 16 or more faders is dam sexy, but I think you can do quite well with an Alphatrack Pro. its only one fader, but its high quality and really smooth.

Also, for controlling plugins, I find the Novation Nocturn absolutely amazing. You can create mapping to emulate anything from a notched EQ to the attack times of a compressor.

I think I use the Nocturn more than anything else for controlling something onscreen.

Cheers,

Scott.

You got two behringer bcf2000s, how is that not the best thing to do. I would see a tremendous workflow improvement in my producing sessions. LOL And you sold them?

I've seen a video of these behringer bcf2000s, some guy used them to work with FL Studio and they worked flawlessly.

Do you think the novation nocturn automap works with fl studio?

Do you own the BCF2000? I didnt find the menu's intuitive at all. And as mentioned previously, the faders are so loud and ratchety I dont know how anyone mixes down with them.

I dont know if the BCFs work with FL Studio sorry, I dont use FL studio.

Thats interesting, I dont have any problem with Automap, except that it sometimes forgets mappings Ive created, and I have to reload it once for the session.
