I noramally just burn my CD's with nero to give to bands but one client wants a PQ list and IRSC list. What are they and how do I do it? Cheers |

PQ is the raw data for red book formatting... it's the cd flags, start and end times of tracks, etc. IRSC is data that identifies band, label, etc. You'll need a mastering-grade system to produce this. When I was in the Mastering Class at school, we used SADiE. I've never seen any way to do it in the usual prosumer burning programs. I'm sure the mastering guys on here will be able to give a whole lot more insight. --jon

Samplitude Pro, WaveLab, CD Architect are three in the "amazingly cool and still affordable" programs which will write (documented) RedBook discs with frame-accurate PQ logs and ISRC codes.
