PT dilemma: Extra HD card or UAD2

We have one slot left in our Mac Pro. Would you get another HD card or the UAD2?

HD is a no brainer! I sold all of my UAD/UADe cards because they caused nothing but cpu spikes and crashes in Pro Tools 7.1 and above.

You might consider using more native plugins with a Mac Pro, which has lots of horsepower even in basic configurations. We considered adding an HD card to our Mac Pro but decided that we'd use the CPU power (eight core 3.4 GHz) of the Mac instead of buying another HD Accel card.
