Thread Starter | Digi 002 - Lavry Blue problem
Here is my problem, I am not getting any audio signal if i connect Lavry blue AD to digi 002 through s/pdif. Here's my setup: Mic->preamp->LavryAD->(via spdif and xlr-rca adapter)Digi s/pdif in port. I have already configured PT to use spdif clock instead of internal and that seems to work fine, since, as soon as i take out the s/pdif cable, i get external clock error on PT. But when i try to record a track using s/pdif as input, i get nothing on PT. The LEDs on Lavry AD show enough activity on tracking aything. Tracking through any of the other non s/pdif inputs(ofcourse skipping lavry) works fine. The sample rates on both devices match... Any pointers or workarounds will be highly appreciated... Abhijit |

tha rca cable is very short, earlier i was using neutrik transformer...but i was getting clocking errors. Whenever i was trying to set PT for s/pdif clock, its used to give me external clock error. So i got a regular XLR-RCA adapter, now i got rod of the first problem and could set s/pdif clock, but am not getting any audio...

without adapter? how will i connect an XLR output coming from Lavry AD to Digi 002? I thought s/pdif on digi was the only option.

All you need is a right cable XLR on one side, cinch on the other.

But the adapter should work too, try to check if it has a good contact. I just thought maybe you have right cable around... |

i will try that later..but i thought adapter was fine, as otherwise it'd have given me clocking error.
