Ben, if you're around, I have two questions for you.

1. The new tranny in the Arabella is the Cinemag 96322A.
What sets it apart from the 96322H and 96322L that already existed?
Or in other words maybe, what does the A stand for? Arabella version?

2. You already elaborated on the Russian steel tube; its good availability (relatively low cost, too) and lower noise. With that in in mind, what made you turn to a glass tube eventually in the Studio Series Arabella? Better match for the more economical (2510) tranny?

Hi Henk, the main difference is the lamination material. Each letter designates a different lamination make up.

the reason for the glass tube in the ari gt was that they fit better into the body and the ge 5 stars sound so nice.

thanks.

Yes, I believe H stands for high nickel content and L for low.
Perhaps A stands for average then. Just a wild guess.

Them 5 stars have quite a reputation. But what about the availability of those (particularly the best for microphone use) in the future?

In any case, thanks for chiming in, Ben!

Hi All, over the last few months, we have been receiving a ton of emails asking if we can bring back the Arabella GT. It's back but we are only making a run of 25.

cheers.

Hi there, they are expensive and time consuming to make. They offer unmatched bang for buck.

Cheers

Anyone use the Blue Mic Cactus? Have you also used the Arabela?
