How about a VOCALIST forum?

Jules and James, Would you (and fellow members) have a level of interest in creating a new singer/VO forum?

With all the expert AE feedback, and James' background this would be very cool IMHO.

Thanks,
Chris

What, and have to wait 2 hours for a reply to an urgent request while the vocalists do their hair, choose the right clothes, for this reply, and then say sorry... but my typing isn't up to it today, i think i have a cold coming on....

How many vocalists does it take to screw in a light bulb?

Just one. (S)he just stands there with on hand up in the air while the whole world revolves around him/her.

This was brought up a couple months ago and, if I recall correctly, Jules said something to the extent of, "I don't see that happening any time soon." Something along those lines.

As a vocalist, I kinda like the idea. However, it would probably be a disaster as everyone and their sister is a "singer" and wants to give advice. I've seen it many times, even on this forum. People who can sing, often don't know it and, people who can't sing, often have no clue.

I dont know if Gearslutz is the place for that.

A Slutty Engineer implies a love for gear.

but a Slutty Vocalist? LOL

Hmm.. I think I've had 1 or 2 come through the studio
