Thread Starter | Hard Disk latency caused by vibrations (loud noises). or SHOW ME YOUR MACHINE ROOM!
Check out this video: YouTube - Shouting in the Datacenter All the more reason to get those hard drives into the machine room! (Other than the obvious noise from the computer...) So post your solutions! Personally I use a Gefen extend-it to the the monitor/keyboard.... Anyone with innovative low-low-cost solutions for project studios? Any good ideas for reducing vibrations in less than ideal circumstances? (Live sound/remote recording...etc) Ideas for people without machine rooms? Lets get a good ol' gearslut discussion going and spread the solutions around! |
