Thread Starter | Recording drums in a big hall
Tomorrow I'm going to record drums in a large hall. Because I heard this can get great results. What are the things I have to pay attention to? what are the experiences you had with this? I always recorded in a small studio so this is really new to me. What about the overheads for example? Do I place them close or just for enough to get enough room? Is is wise to put some absorbing material around the drums? And if, at what distance? So many questions.. |
