PT Problems

every time i hit the space for play back, the play button turns blue and flashes four times then begins playback. it's this way on my PC running 7.1 and my Mac Book Pro running 7.3. i'm sure that there is a preference that has been turned on, but i can not figure out how to make it play as soon as the space bar is hit

any suggestions?

Do you have a 1 or 2 bar countoff on? Bring up the transport and check.

Press 8 on the numeric keypad to toggle on and off.

CMD-1 for transport, but you may not be viewing all the transport...

Go to: View>Transport > Midi Controls
