Pro Tools can't find audio problem?

I have had this problem before. Old fix doesn't work?
Two weeks ago one of my firewire drives started dying. I moved all files to DVD's and got a new 300 gig drive. 95 percent of my different clients material opens up fine. There are just afew songs that say missing 6 audio tracks or missing 12 audio tracks. This goes away if I turn on my dying firewire.
I checked disk allocation. It reads the 300 gig for all tracks? Pro tools version is 7.4 on a mac? Any clues?
Glenn.

The files are probably mis placed in a different folder on the "dying drive"-find them by opening region bin and selecting view full path and look for the ones that are wrong and then copy them. OR
safer: open w the dying drive on and then "save a copy in" to a new location on the good drive checking "copy audio files" this will copy all the files used in the session no matter where they are and put them all in the new audio files folder. Then open the new session and verify all files are in the new folder by looking at full paths. If so, you can toss
the other session if you like.
Develop some kind of daily backup system; you have been very lucky...
