Advice For a Recording Set Up.....

Ok i need some advice.....

I just got this set up to record: DigiDesign 002 with pro tools LE... PowerBook G4 osx 10.4 ...... I have not used it yet because i'm waiting for the the drivers for the 10.4 system, so thats a bummer.... But i was thinking about returning it and getting a bigger interface/console that can handle more inputs... Because i record alot of bands, so i need the inputs.... What should i do???

a) Return it for the Tascam DM-3200 ???? (but then what software would i use?)(this thing looks ****en sweet!!!)

b)Keep it, and invest in another mixer/console that will add to the one i have? Like: The new mackie Onyx mixers? And just use it along with the digi-002 mixer i have..?

c)keep it and buy the PreSonus FirePod, that has 8 xlr preamps that connect through firewire to add to it???????

d) ANY OTHER IDEAS?!?!?

You can ADAT lightpipe in another 8 channels with a presonus digimax or something similar. Behringer makes a crappy one for $200 or something. I got a digimax 96K and am quite happy with it. You can't run at 96K if you're doing 16 tracks though, because you can't send clock through the ADAT. The 002R doesn't have a word clock in, or it would be possible to get 16 track 96K. The highest you can go is 16 track at 48k. The digimax also has limiters on every channel, which can come in very handy.
