Question E-MU 0404 vs Lynx L22!

I currently own a E-MU 0404!

I use a Shure KMS 32 with a A-DESIGN Pre amp for recording singing voices into my computer.

Salespeople are telling me that the Lynx L22 has better converters than the E-MU 0404 and that I will get cleaner sound. In other forums I am told there is no difference.

Could somebody here shed some light on this? Is it worth it to upgrade?

Thank you.

basically converters can make a big difference.

get behringer ada 8000 (and if you have a-design pre, then you can bypass the preamp section of the ada8000), better than both and cheaper than lynx. and you have additional a channels (with not so good preamps) for experimenting.

Sales people will always tell you about that other products that is better than the one you have, don't be surprised if it costs more.. ;-)

Niv,

what's the point of getting the Behringer if it is not better and if jujufactory doesn't need more than one or two inputs?
