EH Memory Man gone haywire....

Hi everybody...
I'm a newbie to post here, but I often refer to this great site for info.

here's my question:
I'm a songwriter and guitarist, and the Electro Harmonix Memory Man has become an essential part of my setup over the last few years.

I own two, and recently, after a checking my main memory man in my luggage for a cross country trip, I took it out, plugged it in, and the delay time was much quicker than what it was pre-flight.
In other words, if the 9 o'clock position on the delay time knob used be 100ms, now it's 50ms.

did something get jarred loose by a renegade baggage handler that would produce this effect?
i'd love to figure this out with your help...

if you'd like to hear a sample of some of my memory mannin' check out my tune 'downriver' on my myspace:

MySpace.com - George Stanford - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Americana / Pop / Soul - www.myspace.com/georgestanford

thanks friends-george

I got a Deluxe Memory Man I bought at guitar center around 2001. It was cutting in and out, and I replaced the switch, and wired in true bypass. It fixed the cutting in and out, but now it self oscillates like crazy usually. Sometimes it seems to act normally when I kick it or just randomly. It’s weird, I never played it out, it has almost never left the house.
I just e-mailed this guy about it. He Designed the original:
