Hello, can you recommend me an excellent audio card for my Apogees ad16x-da16x, actually i'm using a lynx aes16 in my PC but i'm looking another one better. thanks |

What about the RME AES card? You'll need different cabling....and also it will take up two PCI slots.

You say that RME Aes get better sound or what is better on RME AES? ($1000), Lynx Aes16 about ($650) Thanks |

| There is no sound per say coming from the card- the converters are in your ad/da 16x box. There will be no improvement in sound when changing this card, which doesn't have any converters on it. I have heard the RME Total Mix is a better interface than the Lynx mixer.
