Tracking &Mixing 96k verses 44k?

Hello there. I have been recording at 44k 24 bit on a pro tools HD2 192 system for a few years now. If I was not bouncing to a cd would I hear much difference in this. Let's say I record my blues band 96k and mix to a 96k master. Then I have the band do another take and record it at 44k and mixdown to a 44k master. Do you think I would hear much of a difference between the two recordings?
Glenn.
