Google Docs For studio records

Does anyone use google docs to keep track of session information?

We have three different engineers working in our studio, sometimes working on the same sessions. we all are in school and have children. So we need a way to document sessions so other people can pick up the ball if needed.

Would this be a good or bad idea?

An alternative would be to set up a private blog. (Easy to do with Google's blogger/blogspot.)

Yeah it works... use anything you have access to... the BIGGEST problem is making sure everyone plays ball with these tools... if they do then anything would be successful.

Thanks for the response.

For those of you who use docs did you use a template or create your own?
