Is it just me? Has the economy slowed used gear sales?

Like, maybe it's just me, but, I'm kind of hesitant to auction anything on eBay cuz I simply think that I'm not going to get much for it. I've got things I'd like to have repaired and either use or sell to trade up, but right now it seems like an uphill battle.

I've watched auctions, and gear is going for less, which I would've been excited for a year ago, but...I just don't really have the money for it right now due to personal circumstance that's unrelated.

Makes me wonder. Has anybody noticed anything similar?

It might just be you. I've sold several things over the last 4 months and not a single thing stayed listed for more than a week and nobody tried negotiating prices with me, they paid exactly what I asked. If anything I think new sales would go down as people would be looking for deals in these tougher times.

This is very true. I sell new homes and I haven't had a customer walk through the display doors in almost 2 weeks.

Yes sir. I'm always buying and selling via CL and things are moving slow as molasses.

Funny even the scammers are emailing me less, what does that mean? We don't even have the confidence in our economy from the scammers?
